EUBO is delighted to announce that

Hypovereinsbank Luxembourg (HVB Luxembourg)

has confirmed its sponsorship of the orchestra in 2008. We are very grateful for the generous support, which will enable EUBO to develop its relationship with the Centre Culturel, Touristique et de Congrès Trifolion, the Festival International d’Echternach and the City of Echternach.

European Commission & European Parliament

The European Union Baroque Orchestra is an official training initiative of the European Union, and is granted annual funding by the European Parliament under the budget line “support to organisations which promote European culture”. Hypovereinsbank Luxembourg

Earlier this year, HVB Luxembourg announced its sponsorship of EUBO in 2008.

The orchestra is very grateful for this support, which will help to extend its relationship with the city of Echternach and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg. With the money given by HVB Luxembourg, EUBO’s plans to build up a long-term residency in Echternach will be taken an important step further and the co-operation with the City of Echternach , the Festival International d’Echternach and the Centre Cuturel, Touristique et de Congrès Trifolion can be expanded.

The 2008 audition courses, which will take place in the Trifolion in Echternach from 25-31 March, would not have been possible without the sponsorship of HVB Luxembourg.

EUBO hopes that HVB’s generous support for this year will be the start of a long lasting relationship!

Postscript:

Matsushita Electric Europe (Headquarters) Ltd was principal sponsor of EUBO from 1989 to March 2003 – a remarkable example of partnership between business and the arts. The activities of EUBO during this 14 year period would not have been possible without the loyal and generous support of Matsushita.
